At Chocolat Mathez, putting people at the heart of our concerns is a fundamental value. In recent years, we have established partnerships with various ESAT (french organizations that help disabled people back into work) located Maine-et-Loire region (not far from our manufacturing plant).
But what exactly is an ESAT?
An ESAT provides an adapted environment and medical/social support for workers with disabilities. The aim is to encourage the development of their professional skills while helping them to blossom in a friendly atmosphere, all in a caring environment!
Tasks carried out by ESAT for Chocolat Mathez :
- making pompons for our metal tins
- gluing ears on our mini Animal tins
- filling our Advent calendar
- and other more occasional tasks!
